20 years in dental - clinical to executive leadership
VP of Sales & Business Development driving revenue cycle optimization for practices and DSOs
Commercial real estate owner, I understand both sides of your deal
I didn't start in boardrooms. I started chairside.
For nearly a decade, I worked in clinical dentistry - first as a treatment coordinator, then as a registered dental hygienist. I fell in love with the business side while helping scale a solo orthodontic practice through a model nobody was using: leveraging hygiene services to capture revenue that was walking out the door. We built operatories, hired a team, and created same-day workflows that transformed how patients moved through care. That's when I realized the real opportunity in dentistry isn't just clinical - it's operational.
That realization launched a 20-year career spanning clinical care, practice operations, and healthcare technology. I've worked with companies like Solutionreach and TeleVox, and most recently led sales and business development for AI-driven revenue cycle solutions - helping practices and DSOs optimize the numbers that actually drive value: payer mix, production versus collections, and EBITDA. I understand what buyers look at because I've spent years helping practices improve those exact metrics.
Outside of dental, I personally own and operate commercial real estate - which gives me a perspective most advisors lack. Many practice owners also own their building, and the decision of whether to sell the real estate with the practice, retain it as an investment, or structure a leaseback can significantly impact your net proceeds. I understand both sides of that equation.
I've sat on every side of the table: in the operatory, across from practice owners, and in executive meetings with DSO leadership. That perspective is rare - and it's why I started The Dental Exit.
Here's what I kept seeing: dentists getting approached by buyers with no one in their corner to help them think clearly. No one asking what they actually wanted - to stay and practice, to partner, or to walk away with the best possible return on decades of work. Just pressure to decide.
The Dental Exit exists to change that. I'm not a broker. I don't represent buyers. I have no stake in which direction you go. My job is simple: help you understand your options, clarify your goals, and connect you with the right partner when you're ready.
Your practice represents your life's work. You deserve an advisor who's been where you are, and who will help you exit on your terms.
We Don't Sell Your Practice. We Help You Decide Who Should.
We're not brokers. We don't represent buyers. We're transition advisors who help you understand your readiness, clarify your goals, and introduce you to the DSOs, private buyers, or brokerage firms that fit your situation — not ours.
